Based in Wellington, New Zealand Chris Coad is a commercial photographer specialising in Corporate, Advertising and Editorial photography with a special interest in landscape, automotive and marine based work. 

Having been in business since 1991, he has won numerous New Zealand professional photography awards including a New Zealand Film and Television award for work on the Peter Jackson film Forgotten Silver in 1996. 

In 2000/2001, he shot stills on the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Imdb link available here 

In april 2006, he was named Cathay Pacific Travel Photographer of the Year for an editorial assignment profiling the cities of Paris and London. 

He has previously judged the New Zealand Professional Photography Awards. Chris has a Bachelor of Applied Art in photography.
